Hello! Well, I wish I had some cool pictures or video for you this week, but to be honest, I just haven't been feeling very well. Since eye surgery I've had a low grade fever and have been fussy. Dr. Cassidy says this is pretty typical, but it sure isn't any fun. My eyes are looking a lot better, just red on the inside corners, but the kicker of the whole thing is, I don't know if the surgery worked. My parents said I am still pretty cross-eyed on the right side, so we'll wait for a professional opinion at my follow-up appointment next week.
Although I haven't been feeling well, I have mastered a few things this week that I think are pretty neat...
1) Soooo BIG! Whenever my parents ask me "How big is Vinny" I reach my arms out wide and they say "Sooooo BIG!"
2) Pat-a-Cake, all parents have to say is "Let's play Pat-a-Cake" and I start clapping
3) "More" baby sign--I am consistently using the sign for "more" when I want something else to eat or to continue playing.
4) I learned a new word...no, not Mom...bath! I use it correctly too!
5) I have mastered drinking out of a straw, well, minus the backwash.
I'm still army crawling and exploring my world...I sure so like outlets and the hall closet. My parents are always following me around ruining my fun :( I hope to be feeling better by the weekend, because we are getting together with Aunt Melany to celebrate her birthday! Have a good one.
