Hello! I just wanted to write a quick update and let you all know that I made it through eye surgery just fine. Yesterday my eyes hurt real bad after the local anesthesia wore off, and I was a bit groggy from the general anesthesia--but the weirdest thing was that my eyes bled when I cried. I think it kind of freaked Mom and Dad out a little bit, but they still gave me lots of loves and hugs. The ointment I have to put in my eyes before bed sure does burn, but Dr. Cassidy says it won't hurt for more than a few days. Besides that, I'm back to my normal self this morning, eating like a champ and playing my music :) Thanks for all of your support and well wishes!
Here I am with Dad about an hour prior to the surgery...I know what you're thinking...a purple gown with rockets and teddy bears on it...but the nurses said I HAD to wear it!
I won't be able to take any "after pictures" for a while since the flash hurts my eyes, but I'll see if Mom and Dad can video me this weekend for my update next week!

Vinny - I actually like your gown! I think you look like a Cool Kid! I will sure miss your glasses when you aren't wearing them anymore.....you sure are cute with them on.
