Chatter Box

Hello!  Over the last few weeks I have done some very fun and entertaining activities...while simultaneously learning new words!  In fact, my parents stopped counting my words because I can say so many and am learning several new ones each day.  Nursery rhymes on the iPad have been particularly helpful in bolstering my word count, right now I am fond of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," and "Wheels on the The Bus."  Remember when putting two words together was a big deal for me (called a couplet)?  Well this morning I said "Daddy go, keys car."  I can also count to 10...kind of.  I can count to four, then skip five, six seven, but end strong with eight, nine, ten.  I get bored in the middle.  My parents are truly fascinated every time I say something new!

My leg feels just fine thanks to Uncle Dino's PEMF machine...I am still doing twice daily treatments for good measure, but running is my preferred method of transportation these days--especially when my Dad comes home from work.  I just run around in circles--check out my video below.

Last week Mom took me to Imagination Ave. with some of our friends.  It's a great place...there are several "houses" for little kids (a doctor's office, school, kitchen, even a padded jail!).  I had SO MUCH FUN!!

Then came the weekend, we stuck around home, which was nice, because I got a new sand and water table!  Honestly, it is seriously testing Mom's OCD tendencies, as there is sand everywhere, but it is a blast.  I played on the patio while my parents (mainly my Dad) prepped the outside patio pillars to paint.  At least one of us had a good time :)

This was right after the sand and water were poured into the table,
see how nice and clean it is?

It took me 2.4 seconds to figure out that you don't have to keep the sand and water separate!

I had to be hosed off outside before coming in the house :)

Apparently because it was a holiday, I got to have a special snack...
frozen chocolate covered bananas!

One of the things we have really been working on is my tolerance to headphones.  Once I can tolerate headphones, my NACD program regarding counting and language will really kick into high gear.  So, I plugged in my ear buds and rocked out to some "Mary Had a Little Lamb!"

Well, I better run, have a great weekend!!
