Friends...

Hello!  It has been a good week, full of friends and fun.  Tyler (Skyz) and Theresa came to visit from Montana!  Tyler just graduated from medical school and is starting his residency in New York, where they bought a house and Theresa will work as an Occupational Therapist.  Frankly, Dad laughs at everything Tyler says, Mom says he always has.  We went to the pool and the zoo, along with the Outlet Malls and spent lots of time on the patio.  Thanks for visiting :)

I'm sure you are all wondering about my dog Oly, well, Mom took him back to the vet because the cyst has reappeared in his mouth.  The vet tried to drain the cyst, but was unable to get any fluid, so he would like us to wait a few more weeks to see if the cyst is filling with soft tissue or if we'll have further issues.  Mom is not the best at "wait and see," but at least it wasn't horrible news.  I love screaming "Hi Gee" at Oly ("Hi Doggy"), and getting right by his nose for kisses.  Sometimes, I try and lay my whole body over him to give him a hug, he just sits there and gives me kisses. 

I learned a new word this week--car!  In fact, it's the first time I have pointed to an item and labeled it under several different circumstances, so this is a good sign for my speech development.  It's so fun looking out our front window and watching for cars :)  My other favorite activity is to "play pretend"--mainly with a doll or stuffed animal, combing their hair, feeding them with a spoon and a bottle, and putting them to bed.  My parents were pretty amazed at how well I can play pretend, in fact, I haven't even gotten my vacuum out of the closet for a few days because I have new interests.
